Stephanie Falk and Marie Young founded the Sweet Water Grille on beautiful Center Hill Lake in 2005. Their continuing mission is to provide the highest-quality dining experience on the lake.
Executive Chef Stephanie Falk has been cooking for 22 years in Kentucky, Tennessee and Georgia. She opened Atlanta's Bona-Petite Café, running the restaurant for four years. After seven successful years heading Stone Mountain's Sycamore Grill, she moved to middle Tennessee to open Sweet Water Grille.
Stephanie, who was originally schooled in art, creates distinctive dishes by following the family cooking tradition that her grandmothers began. Her success at Sweet Water Grille is the result of the love and dedication she has acquired over the years.
Marie Young has more than 10 years experience in media relations, marketing and account management. She has worked in film, video, corporate communications and with locally owned businesses. She received her bachelor’s degree in speech communications from the University of Tennessee. Marie runs the marketing, human resources and operations division, as well as the restaurant-concept initiatives. She is the self-proclaimed “people person.”
